Celebrating the Longest Night: A Sensory Journey Through the Science and Myths of Our Star, the Sun

 

In the darkness of the night, astrophysicist Álvaro Sánchez told us the fascinating story of the Sun, accompanied by soundscapes by Sabio Janiak and images by artists Jo Holland and Marc Standing.

 

Sabio then led us in a sound meditation, and we ended the evening sipping the "Light in the Dark" mocktail to welcome the new light.

 

This event was lovingly curated for a good cause, with all proceeds going to Special Yoga for children with autism.
