Marathon with Baby

On October 7, 2007, more than 1,000 parents with their babies participated in the "Marathon with Baby" in Barcelona, aiming to raise awareness of parental needs and advocate for practical solutions.

The project included a series of meetings with diverse families and associations, the creation of a documentary, and a symbolic marathon.

 

Winner of the Maria Aurèlia Capmany Award, this initiative significantly contributed to improving child-rearing conditions, including the successful effort to extend paternity leave from 2 to 15 days.

As director, I coordinated the meetings, directed the documentary, and organized the marathon. Additionally, I secured support from UNICEF, collaborated with 30 organizations, and ensured extensive national media coverage across press, radio, and TV.
